shades of grey

24 Feb

button-down: gap ($7); cardigan: old navy ($2); pants: gap ($35); shoes: bc shoes; belt: forever 21; earrings: forever 21

I used to never wear this cardigan because of the shape – it’s a little too big and it’s a regular size, so the sleeves were always too short for me. But for some reason, it’s been getting a lot of love lately (albeit mostly at 2 am when I’m wearing pajama pants and writing a paper).

This last weekend was a nice break – my husband and I drove down to California to visit my parents and went to the San Diego Zoo while we were there. So fun! I really never get tired of watching animals.

komodo dragon planning its dinner…
(shirt, cardigan, jeans: gap; shoes & scarf: target – apparently i’m pretty exclusive about where i shop)

oh hello there cheetah

i don’t know what it looks like otherwise, but your cardigan looks fabulous belted!

thanks! it’s usually just a little wide in the body and shoulders if i don’t belt it.

Was your face the komodo’s intended dinner? I wish there was a funnier, cooler way of saying that, but I can’t think of one right now. Also, I’m seriously jealous you weren’t wearing a winter coat. Soon… soon.
