I was kind of inspired to put a button-down shirt with the collar turned up over a turtleneck by an image in a J. Crew catalog from September:
But seriously. I don’t have any pearls, let alone several strands… nor do I have that nonchalant, effortlessly chic look that she’s definitely pulling off a million times than I ever could.
It’s kind of strange that I aspire to be somewhat rumpled, but then feel like I’m going to have a fit if something is out of place. Maybe I’m going for the wrong look. =)

Your outfit is so cute. I like it. It does look like outfit from the picture. I also like your pose. You look like a model. I really like your jacket.
I think you pulled it off. I like your outfit better. And the nonchalant, effortlessly chic look is all in the face, which you sometimes have and which you could evoke at will with a little practice. And an interesting brick wall.
And really, pearls? With rolled up cutoffs? Somewhere, in some part of the universe, there are people with a true understanding of fashion who are shedding tears of pity.

As for the boots, they are VERY comfortable…the most comfortable heels I have!
haha, thanks mom. I probably would never do the cut-offs… but I think I like everything else. although I do think her face is kind of weird, but the spirit is there, I suppose.
